Cara and Cora were twins born prematurely on January 21, 1990. Their birthstone color is the garnet which is used throughout the design. Since there were no pictures, a swaddling made of silk rose petals represent the two girls. Red, curly doll hair was inserted and the petals trimmed with red glitter.

Tanya was born at only a few weeks gestation. The family feels very close to her at their favorite vacation spot at the lake. A rope swing at the lake was their inspiration for their baby swinging in the butterfly tree. Natural elements of twine and twigs were used to border the picture and special message.

Pearl was their firstborn child making the journey August 12, 2000. She was only 4 months old when she became an angel. The family release balloons on her birthday with special notes just for Pearl. The glitter road stands bold to note that this is the only path the family will take, leading straight to precious Pearl.

Grandparents have memorialized their grand baby that left too soon. Little Skylor put her mother’s life in danger. It is a very difficult decision, but the family knows of the wonderful reunion one day.
